Strawberries Dipped in Dark Chocolate

Hosting a holiday party? Impress your guests with this classic treat — they'll never know it only took you a few minutes to prepare it. This recipe also works well with dried fruit or nuts.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 1 minute to melt chocolate
Additional time: 30 minutes for cooling

Yield: 4 servings
Serving size: 3 strawberries

Ingredients

4 ounces semisweet dark chocolate chips or chocolate bars
12 medium strawberries with stems, washed and gently patted dry

Preparation

Melt chocolate in microwave in medium microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds. Stir and cook for another 30 seconds or until completely melted. Dip strawberries in chocolate and place on wax paper to cool. Store in refrigerator and eat within 24–36 hours.
