Bulgur is a low-fat, whole grain that's high in fiber and rich in flavor. Watch out: Made with nutty bulgur, tart cranberries, and savory pecans, this side just might steal the show!

Total time: 20–25 minutes
Yield: 6 servings
Serving size: about 1/2 cup
2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup bulgur
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
1/2 cup dried cranberries
Preheat oven or toaster oven to 400°F. In a small saucepan, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add bulgur and oil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
