Baked Salmon

All this salmon needs is a touch of seasoning and a few minutes in the oven, and it's ready to serve. As a bonus, the omega-3 fatty acids in salmon make the dish a heart-healthy choice.

Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10–20 minutes
Total time: 15–25 minutes

Yield: 4 servings
Serving size: 1 fillet

Ingredients

4 4-ounce salmon fillets
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon dried tarragon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°F. Rub each fillet with oil and sprinkle with tarragon. Place in a baking dish and bake, uncovered, until fish is cooked through, about 10 minutes for each inch of thickness. Fish should flake with a fork when it is cooked.
