Working With and Occupational Therapist
Occupational therapists can be found at most hospitals, medical centers, arthritis specialty clinics, and hand clinics. The expertise of OTs can be valuable in helping people with arthritis achieve a higher level of independence and overcome the challenges of arthritis. Most health plans, including Medicare, offer coverage of some kind for occupational therapy. You can get a referral from your doctor.
